Tibeto-Chinese, late 18th c.

Standing on a separate cast lotus-base with his right hand formerly holding the mendicant-staff while the left is supporting the alms-bowl, wearing monastic garment including a dhoti secured with a belt around the middle and mantle leaving his right shoulder bare, the border incised with a floral design, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows running into the nose-bridge, smiling lips, elongated earlobes and bald head, unsealed.
